Summer means a lot of fun and adventures!   With the weather warming up, going outside and traveling is becoming a more pleasant experience.   There are several outdoor things to do and finding a way to bring your wine with you and keep it cool may become an issue. There is no need to fret, because there are wine products that will help you keep your bottle from breaking and your wine from getting too hot.

Taking long trips where other people are handling your luggage is never a comforting experience; especially if you have a bottle of fine wine in your suitcase.  If you are planning on taking a cruise this summer or boarding an airplane with a bottle of wine, consider the wine mummy .  This is a reusable, protective wine bag.  The wine mummy is padded so that when knocked around or dropped, your wine bottle will be safe in your luggage!  Your clothes will also be protected, even if in the rare occasion your wine bottle does break.  The wine mummy has a zip seal at the top of the bag and will seal the liquid in and keep the wine away from your clothes.

Safegaurd your bottle of wine from breakage on the shorter trips with a designer wine purse.   They are available in a variety of styles and colors. Each designer wine purse securely holds one bottle of wine with an elastic strap. A corkscrew is also included with a specified spot in the carrier. With a corkscrew included, opening the bottle of when away from home or a kitchen is now an option.  Drive out into the country and drink wine under the stars! Or you can bring your animal print wine purse with you to a dinner party as a fashion accessory.

Wine purses are also great for late afternoon picnics.  But if you are looking for a wine carrier that provides you with more room for food and wine glasses you will want to examine the insulated wine tote. There is room for a bottle of wine, plates, wine glasses, and a snack.  The insulated lining will keep your bottle of wine cool. To keep your wine chilled into the afternoon, cool it down in the refridgerator overnight before placing it in the wine carrier.

Keep your wine cool by freezing fruit and dropping it into each glass.  Choose from grapes or various berries that are part of the wine flavors.  Want something that won’t affect that taste of your wine; consider wine chillers. The wine chiller is a series of gel packs so that once frozen, you can wrap the sleeve around any bottle of wine.  Priced under $10.00, this wine chiller is reusable and is a must have for serving wine on the patio.
